The company consistently gives back, actively engaging in community initiatives throughout the year and earmarking a percentage of annual sales for an impressive five-year span. North West Exteriors has previously impacted organizations such as Beyond Abuse, Greenwood Pathway House, Lakelands Baptist Association and West Cambridge Park.
North West Exteriors’ $1,500 donation to Meals on Wheels showcases their commitment to community well-being and corporate social responsibility. The unique aspect of this year’s contribution lies in the participatory decision-making process. Guided by owner Trent Field, North West Exteriors invited customer input, asking customers to submit the names of local non-profits for consideration. The response was overwhelming, with 23 submissions representing twelve non-profit organizations. To select this year’s recipient, Trent Field’s daughter randomly drew the name of the Meals on Wheels program. This inclusive approach shows North West Exteriors’ commitment to community involvement and the positive impact of their customer base’s collective effort.
Trent Field of North West Exteriors, spoke about the company’s dedication to community support, stating, “Society struggles to maintain a balance, and charity organizations make up the missing links in keeping balance as maintainable as possible. Unfortunately, these organizations need donations to perform the tasks necessary. North West Exteriors has been blessed year after year with dedicated customers buying our services, and we feel it is crucial to help in any way we can to keep the balance of society as level as possible. Our contributions to Meals on Wheels and other local entities are a testament to our mission to create beautiful properties and thriving communities.”
The $1,500 donation was delivered to Schea Workman, Chief Operations Officer of the Piedmont Agency on Aging. Workman had this to say about the program, “Meals on Wheels serves seniors in four Lakelands-area counties, delivering 850 daily meals from their kitchen. While they receive some government funding, their operations primarily depend on donations and dedicated volunteers to sustain their crucial services.”
